About Terry Hayward

Terry and his wife Donna are long time residents of Southeastern Manitoba. They raised their two sons here and are now involved in the care of three grandchildren.  Their family commitment continues by helping their parents "age in place", something most seniors hope to do.

Terry's 35 years  in agriculture and foreign service took him to numerous locations across Canada and abroad. His political experience includes serving as a Canadian Diplomat in the United States and New Zealand.

He is also very active on the home front. Volunteer activities include ...

 - the Beausejour Brokenhead Minor Hockey and Arena Boards,

 - the Beausejour Brokenhead Soccer Association,

 - Canadian Parents for French,

 - the Eastern Manitoba Concert Association (EMCA) - currently board president.

Terry received the "Outstanding Graduate" and "Governor General's Awards at his high school graduation. In 2002 he received the Queen Elizabeth II Jubilee Medal for a lifetime of public service.

He has been involved with the Liberal Party, at both Federal and Provincial levels,  for over 4 years. He is running for MLA to continue the fight for better health care, a stronger local economy and improvements in public safety for the Lac du Bonnet Constituency.

As your next Member of the Legislative Assembly, Terry will be a strong advocate for these issues. He will never stop working to improve the lives of all who call Southeastern Manitoba home.
